The Software Report released its Top 25 Women Leaders in Cybersecurity List recognizing outstanding women for their career progression, expertise and longevity in the industry. The 25 honored were selected from hundreds on nominations that were winnowed down through questions assessing each candidate’s leadership and professional capabilities. Selection was also based on an evaluation their company’s competitiveness in the industry and a review of the individuals standing compared to the industry’s most exceptional executives.
Sarah Ashburn, senior vice president of sales and customer success at Attivo Networks® based in California, was selected as one of the top women leaders in the industry, stating, “It’s a great honor to be included in this prestigious list of industry leaders. Ashburn was recognized for having aggressively driven her company’s domestic sales strategy, expansion, and high-performance team development. With over 25 years of sales experience covering all markets including enterprise and mid-market organizations, her closing $1B in sales over the course of her career made her a standout candidate. She is part of an upward trend in the cybersecurity industry of there being more opportunities for women to take leadership positions, according an industry study conducted by the SANS Institute.
