New Jersey Fashion Week will be hosting its 4th annual seasonal event on Saturday, October 11th and Sunday, October 12th at the Bridgewater Marriott in New Jersey. NJ Fashion Week is known for its exceptional runway shows that showcase talented, emerging fashion entrepreneurs and their designers’ skills. This year the event is sponsored by Lexus of Bridgewater; Lexus will also be displaying a few of their vehicles at the Bridgewater Marriot during the event. Aspiring fashion entrepreneurs should attend NJFW for an opportunity to mingle with professional designers, and hear about additional promotions, events, and programs in the future.
Two designers will be presenting their latest fashion ideas in a runway show at the Marriot for this season’s event: Robert Greco and Victoria Wong. Greco designs dresses and gowns for women sizes 0 to 22; he will be showing his brand Greco Couture 22 at NJFW. The designer’s clothing line is also displayed in his store, Atelier, which is located in Montclair, New Jersey. Victoria Wong will showcase her brand Wear the Paint. Her collection mostly consists of hand-painted attire for both men and women.
NJFW will also present Wrapped in Color! Fashion Show, which is a colorful fashion show in which kids create the designs and also walk the runway. The winning designer will spend a day with Project Runway’s Carol Hannah in her fashion house in NYC. In addition, the winning model will receive a modeling contract from Jo Anderson Models.
Founder and producer of New Jersey Fashion Week, Donnella Tilery, is delighted to be partnering with Bloomingdale’s for this year’s event. Bloomingdale’s will provide attire for special guests that will walk the runway, such as cancer survivors both men and women. Tilery will then host a special holiday event at Bloomingdale this winter.
Tickets to attend the New Jersey Fashion Week are still available; take part in the event at the Bridgewater Marriott this fall.
