Cannabis markets continue to grow, along with spreading legalization in the United States. In 2018 alone global cannabis sales grew 20%, with projections that they’ll break $40 billion by 2024 according to the “State of Legal Cannabis Markets” 7th edition report. To discuss investment opportunities and where the rapidly evolving market is headed, Arcview Group is hosting their latest Investor Forum, The Evolution of Cannabis: 2020 in New York City.
The forum runs from Wednesday, October 2nd, to Friday, October 4th. Top cannabis fund investors and CEOs plan to speak at the conference, including Matt Hawkins of Cresco Capital Partners, Cresco Labs CEO and Founder Charlie Bachtell, and Trulieve CEO Kim Rivers delivering a keynote speech. Additionally, several select cannabis companies will pitch to investors in ‘Shark Tank’ style during the forum.
“New York, New Jersey and Connecticut are teed up to become the epicenter of the cannabis industry in the coming years. With existing state cannabis markets maturing and more states legalizing soon, a whole new class of investor is looking to place their capital in the right opportunities before federal legalization remakes the industry yet again,” said Arcview Group co-Founder and CEO, Troy Dayton.
Leveraging over 600 accredited investors in the cannabis industry, the Arcview Group Investor Network is part of Forbes’ top five financial firms in cannabis. Their experts provide members on both sides of cannabis investments with experience, curated opportunities, and actionable data. Their investors have funded over $270 million into 200 different companies across the industry, like Ebbu, Tokyo Smoke, Flowhub, and Steep Hill.
