For the 25th year, students from Harvard Business School’s Venture Capital and Private Equity club plan to host their Annual Venture Capital Private Equity Conference at Harvard on January 26, 2019. The conference attracts professionals and students, all looking to benefit from the multitude of keynote speakers and discussions regarding venture capital and private equity that the event will present.
Over 1,000 people are expected to attend the event who will hear from over 80 partners and leaders at top private equity and venture capital firms via panels that enable attendees to delve into topics that are of interest. Given the trending popularity of certain technologies, the conference will feature new panels addressing AI and Machine Learning, Blockchain, Renewable Energy, and Biotech.
Other panels offer discussions on various, prominent topics such as Succession Planning, Family Offices, Impact Investing, and Diversity. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to hear from prominent keynote speakers such as Tricia Patrick, Managing Director of Advent International, and John Dionne, the Senior Advisor and former Senior Partner at Blackstone.
“This is one of the best organized and attended alternative asset conferences in the U.S.,” said Sandra Horbach, Managing Director of The Carlyle Group and another keynote speaker. “I welcome the opportunity to discuss the state of the private equity industry and hear what’s on the minds of the next generation of buyout and venture professionals.”
Ticket prices range from $50-$300 depending on student, alumni, or professional status of attendee.
