Dating back to 1981, the Babson College Entrepreneurship Research Conference (BCERC) serves as a venue to encourage research about entrepreneurship, linking theory and academics to entrepreneurs and their practices. The 2017 conference hosts 300 researchers from 25 different countries at the University of Oklahoma’s second-largest college, the Michael F. Price College of Business. The event runs from June 7th to 10th.
In conjunction with the research conference, BCERC holds their 2017 Doctoral Consortium Program in co-sponsorship with the Michael F. Price College of Business, enabling doctoral students to collaborate with consortium faculty to learn about issues facing current research.
The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation serves as a sponsor for the Doctoral Consortium Program, with additional sponsors including the Norman Economic Development Coalition, VisitNorman, and the Norman Chamber of Commerce.
On the 9th, the 2016 winners of the Frontiers of Entrepreneurship Research BCERC Proceedings’ Best Paper Awards will be announced.
