LDJ Productions and Anvil Venture Partners announced on September 12th a strategic partnership to fuel ecosystem development in support of LDJ | FUTURES, a recently launched accelerator and investment fund. LDJ | FUTURES invests in solutions that amplify brand experiences for companies in the technology, fashion, beauty, finance, automotive and media industries.
In addition to a seed investment of $25,000 in exchange for a set equity percentage, the accelerator offers early-stage companies access to revenue acceleration opportunities with Fortune-level corporations that are key clients of LDJ Productions.
Those accepted also receive workspace at 110 Leroy Street, mentorship and tailored workshops, and be part of a curated community of like-minded entrepreneurs. Startups also have the opportunity for FUTURES to increase the total investment by way of a convertible note up to a $200,000 total cash investment.
“I’m very impressed by LDJ’s commitment to lead by innovation in the highly competitive event management space, and excited to help establish the LDJ | FUTURES accelerator that will invest in new experiential technologies for the mainstream market,” said Garnet Heraman, recently announced as the new Managing Director of Investments at LDJ | FUTURES.
All applicants must have the potential to scale and grow, a “lean” business model with an effective pitch deck, a working prototype ready-to-launch or already in the market with an innovative use of technology, and must be able to show evidence of market validation.
LDJ’s client roster includes: Yahoo!, Fairchild Media, Viacom, ULTA, The New York Times, Shiseido, Scirpps Networks, Reebok, L’Oréal, and Automation Anywhere.
