Tact.ai’s substantial AI platform offerings caught the attention of their fifth Fortune 500 organization. Honeywell invested into the human-friendly customer relationship management (CRM) company via Honeywell Ventures and is planning to fully deploy the Tact.ai assistant to their sales teams. Previous investors include Salesforce Ventures, M12 Ventures, as well as venture firms like Accel Partners and Upfront Ventures.
The AI sales platform unifies data across the customer’s systems into a single glass pane. This then allows intelligence notifications to be pushed out to sellers while they’re in the field. Through the AI, companies can speed workflow and improve sales productivity through automated capture of important data.
Honeywell reports great success with the system so far. Growing from their initial 300 early adopters, the tool is now fully approved and extending to thousands of sellers within Honeywell’s globe-spanning businesses. By pulling customer data hidden in calendars, service-tickets, and emails, the system optimizes the sales teams’ customer data usage.
“We’re honored to be joined by Honeywell, who shares our vision of partnering with the customer to help build the future of work in half the time,” said Tact.ai CEO Chuck Ganapathi. “Each day we’re thankful to have some of the largest organizations in the world as supporters and investors. Tact.ai couldn’t be prouder to help our customers’ employees plan better, move better and better connect with their customers.”
