BioNJ has partnered with the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (EDA) in the recently established Executive-in-Residence program which is intended to connect the State’s seasoned life science talent with early stage life sciences companies in the EDA’s Commercialization Center for Innovative Technologies (CCIT) located in North Brunswick, New Jersey. With a focus on early stage company consulting, the partnership is seeking to support the life sciences ecosystem in New Jersey.
The program provides a great opportunity for early stage life sciences companies to have access to pool of executives who will serve to mentor them in the areas critical to building a business. In turn, the program supports executives who are making career transitions by offering networking opportunities that can add to their knowledge and catalyze the further success of their career. Executives will have access to office space, given the title of Executive-in-Residence and have visibility on the EDA web site.
CCIT’s promising life science companies will receive guidance and coaching of the selected Executives through weekly office hours. The program is seeking applicants that have expertise in a variety of specialties, including business development, commercialization, partnering and licensing, health economics, regulatory, and reimbursement.
Applicants seeking to contribute their expertise must be permanent residents of N.J. with a legal working license in the U.S., and be willing to work at CCIT at least once per week for mentoring.
