Speakers from industry leaders like Google, Amazon, and GE will headline the Bluetooth Special Interest Group’s (SIG) annual conference, Bluetooth World. The event scheduled for March 15 and 16 in Santa Clara, CA  draws companies, innovators, and developers combining work on Bluetooth® technology and the Internet of Things (IoT). Bluetooth World will highlight and discuss both the effects of Bluetooth technology on the world and the latest in smart technology.

Bluetooth is at the forefront of making the IoT a reality. “Bluetooth World is an opportunity to see exactly how Bluetooth technology will transform our connected future in the era of the IoT,” said Mark Powell, executive director of the Bluetooth SIG. “The billions of sensors that proliferate our daily life have the potential to communicate and add immeasurable value to the way we live.” Conference participants will have the opportunity to learn best practices, explore growth and networking opportunities, and assess business models.

The conference is a two-day, two-track event that allows for content specialization. Track A focuses on Product, Market, and Strategy, and Track B on Developer Tools. Each track consists of keynote presentations and panel discussions on a variety of industries, including wearables, smart home, and wireless audio. Training sessions on the latest developer tools will also be offered in addition to main conference events. Attendees can also go to roundtable discussions hosted by industry VIPs, and product demos on the exhibition floor.

Bluetooth World will take place March 15-16 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, CA. Registration information and a full list of speakers are available on the conference’s official website.
