Combine an awesome lineup of tech-focused events with the newly renovated Marina del Rey Hotel in Los Angeles and you’ll get the Fourth Annual Silicon Beach Fest to be held from June 24-27. With an agenda spotlighting the diverse talent pool of the tech ecosystem, LA’s largest technology event promises to surpass the success of previous festivals with four days of events packed with programs on tech innovations, community growth, investment trends and more.
“2015 is slated to be one of the largest in terms of investment dollars pouring into LA,” said Kevin Winston, founder of Digital LA, and creator of the Silicon Beach Fest. “With impressive successes from companies like Oculus VR, Tinder, Maker Studios, Rubicon Project, and TrueCar, the Los Angeles tech scene has become a top global destination for technology innovation. Silicon Beach Fest is an opportunity to shine the light on Los Angeles’ place within the global tech ecosystem.”
To set the bar even higher for this year’s festival, new panels and tracks have been added to cover the latest trends and innovations in virtual reality, Internet of Things, 3D printing and International Startups. These events; in addition to featured keynote speakers: Tony Goncalves, Senior Vice President of Digital Entertainment Products Group (DIRECTV) and Will Keenan, President of Endemol Beyond USA, and more; have attracted worldwide guests, investors and entrepreneurs, thus receiving national press coverage.
“For the past three years, Silicon Beach Fest has been the premier place for the tech community to meet, mix, and create new business opportunities,” said Goncalves. “DIRECTV is proud to be a part of such an eclectic mix of successful companies, entrepreneurs, and thrilled to be a part of this year’s festivities which are right in our backyard.”
