The beach boys posing on a beach

Summer is here and that typically signals a change of mood for music listeners. Think sun, beach and outdoor activities that serve to prompt media and audio companies to follow suit with fun and summer celebratory songs.  So it goes without saying it is time for the California surf sound of “The Beach Boys” on our radios, in our homes and in our earplugs.

Fans and listeners received the welcomed announcement that SiriusXM and The Beach Boys have partnered to launch the exclusive limited engagement channel ‘Good Vibrations: The Beach Boys Channel’.  Starting July 1st and through August 31st, fans can tune into SiriusXM channel 105 to hear the most complete access to the iconic group’s songs.  The two month program includes the upcoming Beach Boys’ box set, ‘Feel Flows’ to be released on August 27th.  Their hits and hard-to-find rarities, a cappella vocals, backing tracks, and alternate versions can now be heard and enjoyed.

Leading up to the release of The Beach Boys’ new box set, the channel will spotlight some of the rare and never-before-heard audio material that includes 108 previously unreleased tracks culled from the album sessions. Family and band members (past and present) and band members’ solo work will also be part of the special event.

SiriusXM subscribers are able to use the on-the-go SXM App, as well as tap in at home on their connected devices such as smart TVs, devices with Amazon Alexa or the Google Assistant, Apple TV, PlayStation, Roku, Sonos speakers and more. Go to www.siriusxm.com/ways-to-listen to learn more.

While the dedicated channel is exclusive to SiriusXM, the The Beach Boys will reach more than 150 million listeners through the audio entertainment company’s properties that also include Pandora and leading podcast company Stitcher. SiriusXM touts the largest addressable audience in the U.S., across all categories of digital audio – music, sports, talk, and podcasts.
