The Oliver Wyman Health Innovation Summit held last week in Chicago on Oct. 12 through 14, brought together 500 senior health leaders from around the globe.
The goal of this gathering is to address healthcare as it pertains to personal, integrated and affordable options for consumers, according to a recent press release.
“Our goal for the Summit is to showcase the meaningful innovations in healthcare, explore what new disruptions are likely to come next, and share leadership lessons learned regarding transforming your business during times of major change,” said Terry Stone, global managing partner for Oliver Wyman’s Health & Life Sciences.
The agenda for the summit included experimental exhibits, perspectives from leaders across the industry, a speaker roster with about 20 senior healthcare leaders, immersion tours of Chicago organizations and live streaming from GuideWell Insights lounge.
“This October, Chicago will be the hub of a frank assessment of the need for and the implications of convergence,” Tom Main, founder of the Oliver Wyman Health Innovation Center, said. “Health Market 2.0 is not possible without new ecosystems that bring much-needed capabilities to change from sick care to well care.”
