The Pawsible Ventures incubator has an inaugural cohort of innovative entrepreneurs who will benefit from training and access to funding to accelerate their startups.

With the global pet economy projected to reach $500 billion by 2034, the gap between innovation and clinical application for pet-health startups is narrowing.

Pawsible Ventures, a Vancouver-based venture platform, has launched its Pet Health Incubator to support founders in veterinary diagnostics, biotech, and digital pet care.

Supported by Victory Square Technologies (CSE: VST), Pawsible offers more than funding by providing a specialized ecosystem for an industry that has historically been fragmented.

“Pet health is one of the fastest-growing sectors globally, yet early-stage founders often lack access to the specialized support needed to move from concept to company,” says Alex Chieng, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Pawsible Ventures.

Bridging the Gap in Animal Health

Although pet owners are investing more in longevity and premium care, startups face challenges such as regulatory requirements, specialized distribution, and the need for strong veterinary integration.

Pawsible’s $10 million Fund I offers them support, while targeting high-growth segments, including:

  • AI-powered diagnostics and pet health tools.
  • Next-gen therapeutics and biologics.
  • Fintech solutions like specialized pet insurance and wellness subscriptions.

The “American Connection”

Although Pawsible is based in Canada, its Global Advisory Board includes experienced American leaders to help founders expand into the U.S. market.

Joseph Coury: CFO of Urban Animal, a Seattle-based veterinary group and one of the largest worker-owned cooperatives in the U.S.

Dr. Adam Little: Former Director of Entrepreneurship at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine; expert in pet-care loyalty platforms.

Kimball Carr: CEO of Inspire Veterinary Partners and former leader at Banfield Pet Hospital (the largest vet network in the U.S.).

Dr. Christina V. Tran: Executive Associate Dean at Roseman University of Health Sciences (Nevada/Utah) and a veteran in U.S. veterinary clinical practice.

Dr. Andrew Findlaytor: Senior Director at the NYC-headquartered The Farmer’s Dog, a leader in the fresh pet food revolution.

Key U.S.-based participants include: Pawsible’s inaugural cohort, which will select five to seven companies for intensive hands-on development.

The Program

Applications are now officially open for Pawsible’s inaugural cohort.

Selected founders will gain direct access to capital markets through the Victory Square partnership, as well as clinical validation through Pawsible’s network of veterinary professionals.

The program will begin this month (March 2026), marking a new chapter for innovation in the growing trend of pet humanization.
