American Entrepreneurship Today is pleased to present our Q&A series with key participants of the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The (Co)Working Space is located at 97 Main Street, Woodbridge NJ. It is managed by Noelle Stary who is the owner of 20 Lemons LLC, a full service strategic marketing firm.
What are the services that your co-working space provide and how does a co-working space differ from an incubator?
Co-working is all about community. It is not set up to be a spot when a new business is going to come, go out, go public and sell in 5 years. It is for the consultant who has been working from diners, for 20 years — and for the mom who has her husband also working at home — and she just needs some space. Co-working is about creating what the future of the workforce looks like. We may no longer have mom and pop shops, or corporations where people stay 20 years, but co-working always gives you a space to walk into be welcomed, be heard and be connected with. Where incubators are about the growth of a particular business; co-working spaces focus on connecting individuals.
What type of businesses currently use your space? Are they more established businesses or start-ups?
Copywriters, consultants, printers, graphic designers, sales and business development people, start-ups, accountants, on line marketers, photographers
Is the co-working space convenient for traffic, parking and other services in the area?
Very. We have a free parking lot, and am located in the middle of Main Street, so you can walk next door and get a slice of pizza or walk 4 doors down with clients and have tuxedo service at a Italian Fine Dining Restaurant. We are also within walking distance of the train station. We are also at the intersection of all the major highways in New Jersey: Rt 287, Rt 1, Rt 9, The Turnpike and Parkway.
If someone is interested in using your space, can they just show up? are the premises readily open to use?
Yes they can, Mon – Fri 9am – 5pm or they sign up online at https://liquidspace.com/Venues/the-coworking-space. For additional pricing/times check us out online at www.coworkinginjersey.com
Are you looking for any particular business to become a tenant in the future? or plan on making any changes?
We are actually looking to expand in several new locations over the next year, based off the request of the market.
