The Kirchner Food Fellowship announced June 21st three distinguished members for its new board of advisors. Through international promotion, participation in gatherings, and informal assistance directing and operating the fellowship, the board of advisors strengthens the already internationally acclaimed program.

The Food Fellowship works with millennials to locate, assist, and fund socially responsible businesses in agriculture. The Kirchner Impact Foundation sponsors the Food Fellowship, acting as an arm of the merchant bank Kirchner Group, which is also well-known as a boutique advisor for agricultural technology companies.

Director of the Kirchner Food Fellowship, Blair Kirchner, gave his thoughts on the board of advisors in a press release, saying that, “As our domestic and international profile continues to grow we felt it was important to establish a world renowned advisory board that shares our belief and passion for the program.”

The new members for the advisory board are:

  • Shaun Donovan, former U.S. Office of Management and Budget Federal Budget Director, as well as former Commissioner of the NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development and former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.
  • Vicente Fox Quesada, former President of Mexico, businessman, and founder of Centro Fox.
  • William Buckner, President and CEO of the Noble Research Institute and previous Regional Head of North American Operations for Bayer CropScience.
