The Kirchner Impact Foundation is seeking college students from Mexico, Canada, and the United States to participate in the 2017 Food Fellowship, taking place in Central Mexico.
The Kirchner Food Fellowship is an impact investment program that relies on college students to fund, find, and lend a hand to socially responsible businesses based in agriculture through problem-based learning and solutions approach.
The program is now going into its fifth year and will be working with the non-profit organization Centro Fox, founded and headed by former Mexican President Vicente Fox.
Applications are open until April 15th, and candidates must be enrolled in a University within Mexico, the United States, or Canada. Those wishing to apply must also have either connections or roots in the Mexico region, and be fully Spanish/English bilingual.
W.B. Kirchner, CEO and Founder of the Kirchner Group, has said that, “The issues and challenges our Fellows will work to address in Mexico are similar to issues in many developing economies. Their work ultimately will be beneficial to the broader global community.”
