The National Retail Federation (NRF) announced their new virtual event, NRF Retail Converge, a one day gathering of the retail industry that includes a large variety of retail verticals. Hosting over 75 educational sessions and 40 interactive roundtables, the event features a keynote session with Valerie Jarrett, a former senior advisor to President Barack Obama.
Jarrett’s session includes NRF’s CEO and President Matthew Shay, covering a range of topics such as key economic levers, trade impacts, and monetary policy under the Biden Administration.
Jarrett is currently the President of the Barack Obama Foundation and a Senior Distinguished Fellow at The University of Chicago Law School. She is the author of the New York Times bestselling book Finding My Voice: My Journey to the West Wing and the Path Forward. She also serves on the boards of Walgreens Boot Alliance, Inc., Ralph Lauren Corporation, Lyft, Inc., Ariel Investments, The John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts, among others.
Additional speakers include CEO and president of Bed Bath & Beyond Mark Tritton, CVS Pharmacy president Neela Montgomery, Nordstrom Rack president Geevy Thomas, and many others.
The event is slated for June 21st, 2021, with registration available through the NRF Converge website. The event’s content offers both scheduled and on-demand viewing, giving interested event-goers the flexibility and depth to find what they prefer to see and when to best see it.
