Keiretsu Forum’s Northwest Region is holding its “Angel Capital Expo,” a premier gathering of its angel capital community members. Taking place on August 23rd in Redmond, Washington, the event features a select group of 18 diverse companies in the areas of blockchain, consumer products, technology, real estate, and healthcare. More than 350 angel investors attend to network and take advantage of the full agenda of educational presentations.
“The bi-annual event was created to foster collaboration among angel groups and reach out to the larger investment community,” said Keiretsu Forum Northwest’s President, Brianna McDonald in a press statement. “Momentum and interest is building around our Expos and we look forward to seeing the powerful connections and funding opportunities at the upcoming August event.”
In addition to the pitches and exhibits core to the event, a roster of top industry opinion leaders and investment and technology executives have presentations scheduled. This includes Pantera Capital partner Paul Veradittakit, Angel Resource Institute lead instructor and fellow Bill Payne, Microsoft for Startups’ managing director Raghav Kher, and Archer & Associates CEO and founder Ann-Marie Archer.
Keiretsu Forum’s collaborative approach to investing through events like these help secure large amounts of funding for early-stage companies all over the globe. Since launch, 422 companies received funding from the Forum as a whole, with $75 million invested annually across more than 200 companies. It continues to receive commitment from new investors that want to be hands-on and empowered in their investments.
