AI brings patients more insightful diagnoses and treatments and offers cost efficiencies at scale.
For most Americans healthcare begins with their primary care doctor. Observing how important primary care is, K Health has introduced an innovative new approach with its AI Primary Care Platform.
Primary doctors will now receive comprehensive solutions for patient diagnoses and treatments, a major step away from current technology focused on reducing administrative burden. Using medical chat and AI predictive models based on large data sets, a physician’s time is better optimized.
Doctor-to-patient engagement is improved because lengthy investigations and the manual piecing together of medical records from Electronic Medical Record Systems (EMRs) are replaced.
“K Health is the first company I’ve seen successfully using AI to impact millions of lives. They are addressing some of healthcare’s greatest challenges by providing accessibility to faster, higher-quality, lower-cost care on a large scale,” Marcelo Claure, Founder and CEO of Claure Group which led the recent $50M funding round.
With healthcare partners like Cedars-Sinai, K Health marries virtual care with the existing brick-and-mortar model, creating scalable access to primary care with lower costs. This is achieved over what is now traditionally provided—that K Health touts.
“Our primary care platform offers a concierge medical experience, with an assigned provider and 24/7 access to care,” said CEO and co-founder Allon Bloch. “K has moved beyond a vision to scaled application – rebuilding the primary care model has already helped health systems create a 15% increase to primary care access.
Founded in 2016 by Adam Singolda, Allon Bloch, Israel Roth, and Ran Shaul, the K Health team began developing AI technology using proprietary data sets with the goal of personalized clinical care. The four co-founders’ backgrounds are a combination of healthcare and entrepreneurial experience.
Co-founder and board member Singolda is well-known in tech as the Founder and CEO of Taboola Inc., a content discovery and distribution platform launched seventeen years ago that now has over 180 million unique views per month.
Bloch, former CEO of Hydrogen Health, brings his healthcare experience and serves on multiple boards.
CTO Roth and Chief Product Officer both attended Tel Aviv University. Roth brought his tech background to the healthcare startup, leaving in 2022 to launch another startup. Shaul has the same title position he held at Hydrogen Health and previously was CEO and Founder of Synergy which was acquired.
With their combined backgrounds in healthcare and startups, the co-founders took on an enormous healthcare challenge. With their success working with healthcare system partners and their recent $50M in funding led by Claure Group, the company is well positioned to expand its clinical Artificial Intelligence model throughout healthcare, reaping powerful benefits to millions of Americans.
“K Health solves the need to make primary care visits highly personalized by giving doctors AI superpowers that enable them to practice at the top of their license,” sums up Bloch.
