Over the next four months, 50 startups in the healthcare industry will participate in the MedTech Innovator’s program designed for startups looking to transform the healthcare system with leading technologies. After having met over a dozen corporate partners at the annual MedTech Innovator Summit, each healthcare startup now has access to leading manufacturers, providers, investors, and other industry stakeholders who will act as mentors and partners to the growing business.

MedTech created the program to bring together companies from all over the world that create medical solutions such as devices, digital health, or diagnostic tools and accelerate their growth. Offering extensive programs and resources, the non-profit has helped bring 37 products to the market through the 185 program graduates that have raised more than $1 billion in follow-on funding.

All 50 companies will present their solutions in a Showcase with executives and investors at the 27th Annual Medical Device Conference in San Francisco, with the opportunity to win a cash prize. In addition to the program, a subset of 25 companies will partake in MedTech’s Accelerator program which matches senior industry leaders to the start-ups, ensuring additional support and a personalized education.

The Medtech Conference being held in Boston from Sept. 23-25 in Boston will host the finals where all 50 companies will present. Following a series of competitions the finale will have a live audience vote will determine the winner of the $350,000 grand prize and earn the title of 2019 MedTech Innovator.
