Angel Venture Forum D.C. announced that twenty-three finalists were selected from over 150 applications for the upcoming Angel Venture Forum D.C. scheduled for November 5th at the at the National Press Club in D.C. This followed a live Screening Day conducted by a team of investors and partners.
On the Forum day, selected start-up companies present and exhibit to more than 80 active angel investors, family funds, venture capital firms, investment advisors and influencers from across the Mid-Atlantic. The AVF views the application to the Showcase as -a critical step for start-up companies to fully leverage the AVF process part of a broader process of ongoing networking, education, coaching, and most importantly, relationship building which starts at the time each company applies.-
