The eBay-owned company eBay Enterprise announced itself its status on April 21 as the No.1 ecommerce platform provider to the “2015 Internet Retailer Top 500,” according to a press release.

eBay Enterprise platforms are currently used by 67 retailers, up by nearly 10 percent from 2014. This includes the Magento, an ecommerce software used by 47 leading brands around the world, which has moved to the No.2 platform on the “Internet Retailer” list.

For its role as the leading provider of commerce technologies, order management, fulfillment, customer care and marketing solutions, eBay Enterprise was also recognized as the top vendor for Site Design and Content Management and No. 2 vendor for Order Management, Customer Service and Fulfillment.

According to the press release, eBay Enterprise bolstered its client portfolio with more than 200 new customers in the first financial quarter of 2015, attracting giants like Adidas, Mindshare and Volvo. Its new commerce-focused marketing agency, “THE SHOP,” was also launched alongside its other achievements.

Craig Hayman, president of eBay Enterprise, attributed the company’s success to the unique ways it meets the urgent needs of today’s retailers. With 7,500 active stores enabled globally, a 46 percent increase from a year ago, eBay Enterprise continues to lead in store fulfillment.

In 2014, eBay Enterprise Store Fulfillment solutions powered more than $1 billion in store fulfilled states, according to the press release. Its Retail Associate platform is also now live in more than 1,500 stores, including Aeropostale and Nine West.

In an effort to bring together customers, partners, open source community enthusiasts, developers and industry experts from all over the globe, eBay Enterprise is hosting its annual Image Commerce Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, where attendees can immerse themselves in the latest technology, techniques and ideas in ecommerce.
