Company’s next Grand Central Tech Startup-In-Residence Program seeks experienced entrepreneurs who have pre-Series A companies based in New York City with the potential to grow into fully-fledged companies. This program isn’t a studio, an incubator, or an accelerator, instead offering 15-20 companies a year-long residency, free workspace, topflight growth resources, while they work among Company’s world-class peer founder network.
The program is accepting applications until November 19th, 2018. Company looks for deep domain expertise and experience while emphasizing the importance of the support from the community. Inclusivity, diversity, and access are just as important to Company as a viable product or idea, and these values have shaped the program over the past four years of its running.
“Grand Central Tech understands that for companies to successfully progress and become viable businesses that contribute to the economy of New York and beyond, they must go through metamorphoses of their own,” said Alexis Maybank, founder of Project September. “With their carefully crafted spaces, programming and resources to help companies at critical stages of their growth, GCT has proven that they uniquely understand this natural cycle.”
Company doesn’t just provide a space and access to their talent network, they also assist the program’s participants find and recruit new startup talent and introduce the companies to big-name corporates like Google, Mastercard, and Amazon for potential pilots, investment, or product integrations. The support doesn’t end when the program does, with Company also offering flexible space for a startup’s long-term growth needs.
