With the steady increase of connected systems and the ever growing threat of identity theft, better security is a top public concern. Offering a perspective on the many issues surrounding this topic, the upcoming Cloud Identity Summit is focusing on “Intelligent Identity”.
Intelligent Identity is based on the idea that a person’s digital identity should evolve using the technologies that are revolutionizing almost every other aspect of life. Artificial Intelligence, the Internet of Things, and Big Data can construct a “Smart identity”, able to sort through the data of a user for what’s relevant without compromising their security.
Some of the world’s foremost experts on digital identities are speaking at the conference that includes former CIA Operations Officer Valerie Plame, a product management director for identity at Google, Eric Sachs, Microsoft’s partner director of program management-Identity Division, Alex Simons, and IBM’s director of Cloud IAM Strategy, Eric Maass.
“I’m excited about everything this conference has to offer this year, from top-notch vendors like Valerie Plame to technology vendor and solution provider sponsors like Optiv, Google and Microsoft” said Andre Durand, CEO of Ping Identity. “There is something for everyone at CIS.”
The CIS Conference will take place in Chicago on June 19th to 22nd.
