After an evaluation of 200 proposals on innovation and nearly 10,000 votes, 15 highly innovative finalists have been recognized by Booz Allen Hamilton through their selection to compete at the Aspen Ideas Award at the Aspen Ideas Festival this week. The Aspen Ideas Festival is “the nation’s premier, public gathering place for leaders from around the globe and across many disciplines to engage in deep and inquisitive discussions of the ideas and issues that both shape our lives and challenge our times.”

Designed to encourage ideas to impact communities around the globe, the finalists with the most innovative ideas for youth, education and business will be chosen as winners. New this year, the award will provide three winners with $25,000 each following two pitch sessions during Fest 1 on June 30th and Fest 2 on July 3rd.

“We are thrilled to work hand in hand with The Aspen Institute and the Aspen Scholars and presenters on the Award program to identify the start of solutions to some of today’s key challenges. We hope that both the winners and all participants will take things from ideas into actions,” said Bill Thoet, Booz Allen Hamilton executive vice president and emcee of the Ideas Award live pitch event. “Sharing is two-way, so we look forward also to learning from the finalists and returning that knowledge back to Booz Allen’s global community and clients.”
