Auctions.nyc is offering 26 top-level .nyc premium web domain names via bid to any organization, person, or business with a physical address in New York City.
The domains are memorable, short, SEO-friendly, and at time of writing all 26 are still available. Auctions.nyc is partnered with SnapNames who handles the technical part of the auction. A step by step guide is available online.
Anyone within the five boroughs of the New York City area is eligible for the auction: Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx, and Staten Island.
Several companies are already making use of top-level NYC domains, such as Beast Enterprises (beast.nyc), Whim (whim.nyc), and Lumina (lumina.nyc).
The Auction will close on May 18th.
