The Unicode Consortium, a nonprofit organization founded to develop, extend and promote the use of the Unicode standard and related globalization standards, will bring together international experts, tools vendors, software implementers and global business managers for the 39th year in a row at its Annual Internationalization and Unicode Conference. This event, running from October 26th to 28th in Santa Clara, CA, covers the most current industry standards and centers on software and web globalization.
The conference agenda includes tutorials and sessions to train beginners interested in implementing and creating global software. The conference will also feature more advanced presentations for industry experts, focusing on sophisticated requirements and solutions to difficult problems. Industry leaders will also benefit from more cost-effective options explained by tool and product vendors.
MultiLingual Magazine and Adobe are sponsors of this conference. “Adobe is once again pleased and honored to support, as a Gold Sponsor, this world-class conference, which gathers the most brilliant minds in Unicode and globalization,” said Dr. Ken Lunde, Senior Computer Scientist 2 in Type Development at Adobe. “Whether you are new to Unicode, or a seasoned Unicode developer, this conference represents a unique opportunity to exchange ideas with and to promote discussion among your peers.”
