Launching a new initiative, The Cybersmile Foundation is now employing AI to run Cybersmile Assistant, an online support system for Internet users around the world experiencing cyberbullying. The platform helps individuals with issues such as harassment or digital abuse, by providing timely advice, information and support services to help them through any ordeal.
Cybersmile Assistant helps users by cutting through search and wait time, delivering information straight from the Cybersmile data, which holds a plethora of organizations and helplines appropriate for each user’s needs. Due to its machine learning capabilities, the more Cybersmile Assistant is used, the better and more intuitive the forum becomes at delivering results.
Rimmel, a popular cosmetics bran, has been a long-term partner of Cybersmile through their social media campaign of trending the hashtag #IWILLNOTBEDELETED to battle beauty cyberbullying. The companies also partnered to co-develop the Digital Civility Challenge, which encourages individuals to use the Internet to maintain wellbeing and support each other, instead of fostering divisiveness and inequity.
“Cybersmile Assistant is going to revolutionize the way we deliver support for Internet users around the world. Not only will it completely eradicate support wait times and the need to undertake lengthy online searches for reputable support organizations, Cybersmile Assistant will also enable us to have the infrastructure in place to potentially help over 1 million people each day.”
