KPMG’s sixth annual Women’s Leadership Summit on October 7th goes virtual for the first time, continuing its mission to advance women into the C-suite despite the pandemic. The event will be livestreamed during the week of the 2020 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship that is being held in Pennsylvania. Hundreds of executive women nominated by their CEOs will participate, benefitting from networking opportunities and access to the top leaders of today.

NBC’s Sunday Night Football sideline reporter Michele Tafoya is the master of ceremonies. She will introduce notable keynote speakers: 66th U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, KPMG US Chair and CEP Paul Knopp, and broadcast journalist Robin Roberts. Topics will focus on public health, as well as the social justice and economic issues today’s leaders face in the workplace.

“Our commitment to accelerating diversity and inclusion is unwavering,” Knopp said. “We are thrilled to have an outstanding group of courageous and resilient leaders joining us as speakers at this year’s Summit to inspire our audience of high-performing, high-potential executive women.”

Additional business and sports speakers include Marriott Group President Stephanie Linnartz, Chevron CEO and Chairman of the Board Mike Wirth, LPGA Tour player and KPMG brand ambassador Mariah Stackhouse, as well as several others.

The KPMG Women’s PGA Championship with support from KPMG, PGA of America and LPGA partners hosts the KPMG Women’s Leadership Summit and supports the KPMG Future Leaders Program to champion women leaders on and off the golf course.

Proceeds from the Championship and the Summit fund the KPMG Future Leaders Program that is focused on giving opportunities to top female high school seniors across the country. The goal is to have young women experience personal growth through college scholarships and participation in a women’s leadership development retreat.
