Zoho, a single online platform with a multitude of business software applications, shared key metrics about their ongoing success at the recently held Zoholics Austin, publicizing the company having over 45 million global users and a revenue growth rate of 39 percent year-over-year. To support this growth, the company is planning to add offices in multiple new countries as well as introducing an entirely new university campus in Austin, Texas.
The campus in Austin will mimic the campus in India that was originally funded and built by Zoho for technologically inclined high school graduates as an alternative to college. It will focus on business administration and marketing, offering training at no cost and teaching students important skills so they are set for the job market when they finish the program. Hundreds of employees will be hired from the Austin area in the near future as Zoho continues to build a strong partnership with the Austin community, working to educate local students and provide a path to the future.
“As a private company that’s been in operation for more than 22 years, we are invested in long term growth and crafting the very best business solutions for our customers,” said Sridhar Vembu, CEO and Founder of Zoho in a press statement. “Without the pressures of shareholders, we can grow with purpose. It is our imperative to invest in our employees and the communities we are in, while making sure our software remains accessible to every type of business, from small to large, whether they exist in yet-to-be-developed, emerging or fully developed markets.”
