Yelp Inc.’s inaugural Bizzie Awards have honored Sandy Springs, Georgia as the most customer-friendly city and Backstreet Grill as the most customer friendly small business in the United States.
The Bizzie Awards were created to identify the small communities and neighborhood businesses who best utilize Yelp to help and assist their customers.
“For business owners, we know that engaging with Yelp is a great way to delight past and future customers. The Bizzie Awards recognize those businesses that make the most of Yelp and its free tools to connect with clients on and offline,” Co-Founder and CEO of Yelp Jeremy Stoppelman stated in a recent press release.
To select Bizzie Award winners, Yelp evaluates businesses on their methods of interacting with customers on Yelp. The Bizzie Awards assess a business’ commitment to connect online with customers using the tools Yelp provides while also considering the information they share with customers regarding business history and services.
