Building on its four 2018 events that together drew in 40.5M live-stream and on-demand viewers, Yahoo Finance this year is expanding globally its All Markets Summit events that includes the US, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. The day long events explore the challenges and changes in the economy of the respective region, with participants discussing how influences within the region can adapt themselves to be successful.
Since 2017 the All Markets Summits have served as Yahoo’s first conference initiative, providing a platform for attendees to analyze data and learn about economic problems, as well as growth. The conference brings together leaders in business, banking, media, politics, and philanthropy that millions of online viewers also tune in to watch as the live event takes place. The planned global expansion is intended to prompt more in-person discussion in those regions.
Led by the Editor in Chief of the Yahoo Finance editorial team, Andy Serwer, participants will discuss how companies, institutions, government, and individuals can properly adjust and ensure they are prepared to meet the needs of the economy in 2020 and beyond. The first installment of the series will be held in New York on September 9th, with additional events in Sydney, Australia and London, United Kingdom.
“Yahoo Finance reaches a global audience of more than 92 million users each month that turn to our reporting, bell-to-bell on air coverage and special events to make smart investment decisions and stay in the know,” said Joanna Lambert, General Manager of Finance, Tech, Autos and Member Services at Verizon Media. “Yahoo Finance is committed to building the most comprehensive finance and business platform in the world. Adding international installments of the All Markets Summit live events will further enhance our global footprint.”
