We the People, the only multichannel crowdfunding retail chain and community in the world, is now enabling innovators to bring their ideas to life through their Livefunding campaigns that are available for a small fee. The Asia-based crowdfunding platform has helped over 200 brands in the education, e-commerce, and brick and mortar retail space source funds and is now expanding to include in-person interactions through Livefunding.

Through Livefunding, creators and entrepreneurs can show off their products in real life to interested investors and consumers who may want to try the item before ordering. Creators often receive the least amount of traffic on their products “mid-campaign,” but Livefunding allows them to interact with consumers and create connections and excitement around their product, despite not being manufactured yet.

The company has hosted successful campaigns in the past, with some major brands including Quiver Bag and Kaizen Wallet, raising thousands of dollars just through Livefunding. On April 25th, We the People is holding an event in New York City for prospective creators who would partake in the Livefunding and pre-order campaign.

“In this transition economy, online commerce seems to be taking over, but brick-and-mortar retail is not dead: It’s just evolving,” explained Jay Kang, CEO of We The People. “Retail stores provide consumers with a place to interact with and experience products. WTP is now offering Livefunding to help creators draw in investors and future customers by allowing them to display their prototypes and seek funding support in a live setting. We’re excited to work with multiple creators to support them with their Livefunding campaigns at future FCBC events.”
