Venture for America (VFA) will be hosting its annual Summer Celebration come June 1st, and will feature a special guest appearance from the star of ABC’s Shark Tank, Daymond John.
The celebratory evening recognizes VFA’s entrepreneurial endeavors to strengthen entrepreneurial ecosystems all over America. VFA trains recent college graduates about entrepreneurship and then places them in promising startups in locations around the US. VFA also supports these VFA fellows when they start and build their own company.
Attendees will enjoy a cocktail reception and seated dinner, during which VFA fellow founders will pitch their companies and Daymond John will speak. This will be immediately followed by an after party and dance featuring DJs and Producers Angel and Dren.
The host committee for this year’s Summer Celebration includes Peter Ezersky, Jodi Kahn, Eric Felder, and Andy Parker.
VFA recently announced that Amy Nelson will succeed VFA founder Andrew Yang as CEO.
