Venture For America just announced its 5th Annual Summer Celebration, which will be held on June 2. The fundraiser will feature two keynote speakers: entrepreneurs Katia Beauchamp, CEO of beauty retailer Birchbox, and Tom Kartsotis, founder of Shinola and Fossil.
“We’ve come a long way in five years and your support will help us keep building things in the years to come,” the program said in a press release.
Venture For America is a two-year fellowship program for college graduates, training and launching their entrepreneurial careers through teaching fellows how to build a business and placing them in startups in cities across America.
In addition to featuring the keynote speakers, the event will also be honoring the Class of 2014 VFA fellows and will also give attendees the chance to interact with founders and fellows across a variety of ventures.
The list of confirmed attendees and hosts currently includes VFA’s Andrew Yang, NBA player Shane Battier, Shatze’s Shara Mendelson, Boxed.com’s Chieh Huang, author and journalist Lee Woodruff, and many more.
Early Bird general admission tickets, which are available until May 1, are $350, with larger ticket packages available as well. To learn more, visit http://vfaparty2016.splashthat.com/160404.
