This coming October Venture Atlanta celebrates its 10th anniversary as a top investor conference and proudly marking a noteworthy milestone of having had over $1.8 billion in funding raised by past conference participants. The conference has opened a call for southeast-based tech startups and early stage tech companies to present. Those selected will have the opportunity to pitch their solutions, products, and ventures to business leaders and investors from across the tech ecosystem.
Mark Davis and his company Deep Fiber Solutions were showcased at the 2016 Venture Atlanta conference, along with 32 other companies presenting to over 120 venture capital funds. Davis commented that, “We were able to raise money as a direct result of our pitch and new connections made at Venture Atlanta 2016… The program is a great value to startup companies like ours and the growing tech ecosystem in Atlanta and the Southeast.”
Outside of fund raising and networking opportunities, the conference also provides training and pitch coaching, access to exclusive events such as opportunities for entrepreneurs to have one-on-one meetings with national and local venture funds.
Venture Atlanta specifically seeks high-growth and early-stage technology companies within Georgia and the expanded footprint of Texas to D.C. for application. The conference deals with a broad range of technology, and has featured companies dealing with electric cars to wearables. Life sciences, Pharma, and Bio companies specifically should not apply.
Submissions are due by August 4th. For more information, please visit http://www.ventureatlanta.org/ .
