Virtual Meeting on a Laptop

In order to connect, inspire, and educate women who are leading businesses across the globe, Ladies Who Launch announced their first LWL 2020 Virtual Summit. Running from November 18th to November 19th, the summit features virtual workshops, keynote addresses, fireside chats, and networking sessions all free of charge for female founders.

“One of the superpowers of Ladies Who Launch is helping women see that though they may be socially distanced, they are not alone in their entrepreneurial journey,” says Sara Friar, CEO of Nextdoor and Co-Founder of Ladies Who Launch. “We seek to provide a safe and authentic space to share ideas, failures, future hopes, and tough lessons. The LWL 2020 Virtual Summit goes beyond what you can read in a book or article or listen to in a podcast. It’s interactive, real-life, gritty and above all, inspirational.”

Keynote speakers at the summit currently include Shan-Lyn Ma, founder of Zola, discussing her experiences during the pandemic and including leadership advice. Stitch Fix Founder Katrina Lake is also speaking, sharing key lessons learned during the last year. Additional programming includes important topics like Navigating as a Minority Entrepreneur, Building Your Brand and Community, and Everything You Need to Know from a VC Investor—which often follows an angel investor round.

This event is only one way that Ladies Who Launch continues their mission to empower and celebrate female-identifying and non-binary entrepreneurs. Following their three pillars of Community, Education, and Inspiration, Ladies Who Launch strive to provide women with the connections, resources, and motivation they need to launch their companies.
