Hande Cilingir has the unique and prestigious status as a female-founder of a tech unicorn
Founded in 1909 International Women’s Day continues to be both a celebration of women and a rallying cry for women’s equality. In recognition of the day, AI-native platform Insider issued a press release honoring its co-founder Hande Cilingir.
Cilingir at the helm as CEO with Chief Revenue Officer Serhat Soyuerel and others co-founded the AI-native platform in 2012 that boasts a community of 200,000+ CX, marketing & e-commerce professionals. The platform enables clients to drive growth across the digital marketing funnel, using deep artificial intelligence and machine learning. With this powerful technology, marketers are now able to deliver personalized experiences across the web, mobile web, mobile apps, and ad channels.
The company also announced its unlocking of $200 million of Committed Annual Recurring Revenue (CARR), touting the extraordinary acceleration of its model that has achieved unicorn status, a $1 billion valuation.
“When we founded Insider, our vision was to become the world’s most progressive and trusted technology platform for CX. Unlocking $200M USD CARR is a remarkable milestone that demonstrates our vision is transpiring,” said Cilingir.
Now at the helm of a unicorn, Cilingir garners well-deserved accolades for being a female entrepreneur and leader of such a successful startup. Cilingir speaks to that noteworthy accomplishment.
“When we started Insider, we sought not only to create a product company but to build the world’s most socially progressive technology community. We wanted to prove that it was possible to create a woman-founded, women-led company in AI and deep tech from any part of the world,” said Cilingir.
She goes on to describe the positive impact of the gains made in women’s equality being celebrated on International Women’s Day.
“Companies with women on their boards tend to perform better on the stock market. Societies that educate girls and allow women to participate in decision-making are more successful. Women matter, and representation matters. When you bring diverse perspectives and voices to the table, it leads to more innovation, more inclusivity, more equity, and better outcomes for organizations, shareowners, customers, and society.”
Well said.
