New Jersey NJ has made its way into the top twenty in Forbe’s ranking of America’s most promising companies, thanks to two high growth New Jersey based companies, as revealed in the release issued last week by Forbes Magazine. The companies are Bai Brands, ranked at number thirteen, and CardCash.com, ranked at number nineteen.
Bai Brands is a healthy bottled beverage company started in 2009. Since then, founder and CEO Ben Weiss has acquired over $45 million investment from angel and institutional investors, while the company now surpasses $48 million in revenue. Bai drinks offer an antioxidant infusion with each bottle, serving a host of flavors including blueberry, mango, and coconut. Using a marketing strategy that targets a health conscious consumer, the company is now boasting about its well-earned consumer loyalty by offering its branding to t-shirts with the Bai logo.
CardCash.com is a company that buys unused gift cards from consumers and offers them for sale via their online exchange. The company founders are Marc Ackerman and Elliot Bohm, who previously ran a site for ebay discounts, and identified this need by consumers that prompted their startup in 2008. The company now partners with large corporations such as CVS, United Airways, and Walmart, and is expected to surpass $100 million in revenue this year.
