Gold medal with red ribbon

IoT technology company Opengear has been honored with the 2021 IoT Product of the Year Award for its OM1200 Operations Manager product. Its innovative technology provisions, orchestrates and remotely manages network devices that enable technical staffs to more reliably and efficiently oversee their data centers and remote network locations.

“We are honored to be receiving this distinguished IoT award,” said Opengear President Gary Marks. “Through Opengear’s technology, IoT devices can configure and mediate the gaps often caused by staffing shortages or configuration errors at data centers”.

TMC, a global integrated media company in partnership with Crossfire Media hosts the annual Award, giving recognition to the best and most innovative products and solutions powering the Internet of Things. The editors of IoT Evolution World magazine judge the nominated solutions that are required to have been available for deployment within the past twelve months.

Opengear has R&D centers in Silicon Valley and Brisbane, Australia. Following its acquisition by Minnesota-based Digi International in 2019, the two companies joined to provide the best products, software and services that meet the demands of mission-critical networks. Their products are trusted by global organizations across financial, digital communications, retail and manufacturing industries.

“Congratulations to Opengear, a recipient of the 2021 IoT Product of the Year Awards,” said Rich Tehrani, CEO, TMC. “It is one of the most rewarding parts of our jobs at IoT Evolution World to recognize the latest innovative products and solutions in the exploding IoT market. With our partners at Crossfire Media, we all look forward to seeing their future successes!”
