January 31, 2015-The Tech Trailblazers Awards, recognizing privately-held organizations across the globe developing technology-driven solutions to real-world problems, named SimpliVity as top startup in the 2014 Tech Trailblazers Awards in the Cloud category, according to the post-event press release.

SimpliVity, based in Massachusetts, received top prize for its simplified IT system, which has greatly helped businesses reduce operating costs and promotes global unified management.

The Tech Trailblazers Awards is a newly conceived awards program designed for small businesses and startups less than 5 years old and at C-series funding or below. The program acknowledges innovation following enterprise technology and other areas: Big Data, Cloud, Emerging Markets, FinTech, IoT, Mobile Technology, Networking, Security, Storage, Sustainable IT and Virtualization and a Firestarter category. In addition to recognizing innovation, Tech Trailblazers also helps startups grow their businesses by providing coaching, mentoring and development and a prize fund worth more than $1 million.

Finalists for the award were chosen by a panel of tech industry experts, which were then voted upon by the tech public and revisited by the judges.

Established in 2009, SimpliVity aims to streamline IT through its enterprise and service provider-targeted products, according to the companys website. Over the past year, SimpliVity reportedly grew their sales by nearly 500 percent in addition to increasing its employee base and partner relationship, according to the press release.
