sFoundation, a Silicon Valley based startup accelerator helping to build tech companies and also increase diversity, is now accepting applications for their 2018 Fall Startup Accelerator Cohort until August 31st. Starting in October and spanning 12 weeks, the program assists startup founders through workshops, mentoring, and providing access to their network of entrepreneurs, innovators, coders and investors.

With a commitment to increase startup diversity in startup ecosystems, sFoundation aims to include 20% female founders, 20% minority founders, and 20% founders over 40. Within the program founders meet other business minded individuals, assist each other with problem solving, and have access to industry experts who are available on site to answer questions and offer insight into each startup’s target sector.

The cohort also offers specialized workshops to meet the needs and jobs of different people in the emerging ventures. Individuals in CEO, CFO, CMO, or CTO positions can improve their skills through evening workshops.

The program culminates with the cohort members pitching their product or services to a group of angel investors, industry experts, and executives.

Companies are able to tap into sFoundation’s assistance and network after they have completed the program.

Cohort selections will be announced on September 7th.
