Amidst a $360 billion dollar training professional industry, SelfStudy Inc., a learning optimization technology company, releases CourseBuilder to help companies build their staff’s skills in a quicker, more personalized way. Through classes and self-generated tests, CourseBuilder, a module of the SelfStudy cloud platform, enables companies to widen their skill-set and advance in fields, leveraging their capabilities in a knowledge-based economy.

While traditional, and even some modern educational courses can take months to develop and tend to be more expensive, CourseBuilder takes a more efficient approach. Now, instructors can simply choose from SelfStudy360’s content library and upload webinars, articles, and videos to CourseBuilder, which the learners can then access.

Each company gears the material to the needs of their staff and, as SelfStudy CEO, Brenda Mclaughlin explained, “the publishing of such content and learning programs online is entirely within the easy control of the organization.”

Once the content is uploaded, the platform uses Artificial Intelligence to assess each learner’s capabilities and environment and then creates a personalized learning track. The program is set at a pace for each learner, and when the course is complete, assigns credit or certification to the user.

CourseBuilder’s inaugural release was at TechCrunch Disrupt on September 5th, 2018.
