Did you know that $2.8 Billion in non-dilutive grants and contracts are awarded to small businesses every year? Eleven federal agencies provide early stage funding for R&D in small businesses through two programs called the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Programs.
The application process for these programs is fairly extensive and sometimes complicated. To build the competitiveness of program applications for life sciences and healthcare technology companies, SBIR Impact NYC provides 20 selected companies with specialized SBIR/STTR application assistance including advanced training workshops and 20 hours of one-on-one expert support.
From now until September 9, small business owners in NYC can apply for application assistance.
For tips and useful information on the program and application, a free webinar titled €œHow to Apply for SBIR Impact NYC€ is available at https://attendee.gototraining.com/175kv/recording/395408936460776962.
