RutgersX will be hosting an “Accelerating Food Entrepreneurs Conference” on Nov. 16 at the College Avenue Student Center in New Brunswick, NJ.
Focusing on entrepreneurship within food related industries and business sectors, the first co-hort of graduates from RutgersX, the first business accelerator program at Rutgers, will make pitch presentations to investors.
The event also will include a full schedule of speakers and panelists as well as interactive exhibits. State and Rutgers University leaders, food industry marketing and investor experts and entrepreneurs will all be in attendance.
Among the speakers are: New Jersey Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno, Christopher Molloy, Ph.D., SVP of Office of Research and Economic Development at Rutgers University and Douglas Fisher, New Jersey Secretary of Agriculture.
Entrepreneur’s presenting their businesses will include Daniel Dengrove of Brewla Bars, Sara Erb of Chia Star and Alma George or Jalma Farms, among others.
