Healthcare finance company CarePayment announced 50% growth for the first year at its new headquarters in Nashville, Tennessee. The dramatic growth was due in large part to expansion of its customer base that includes 15 new provider partnerships. The number of served patients increased from 2.2 million last year to 3.3 million, with the company expecting strong growth to continue in 2018.
CarePayment partners with healthcare organizations to offer affordable payment programs with 0% APR to patients. The programs enable patients to pay off medical expenses over time with low monthly payments and no credit bureau reporting. The company has helped more than 1 million people establish payment plans through the financing solutions it offers to hospitals, physician practices, and equipment and service providers nationwide.
“Providers are realizing that if they want to get paid what they are owed for the care they provide, they have to make it easier for patients to pay for their services,” said CarePayment CEO, Craig Hodges.
The company’s newest partners are diverse and include: a major national health system, a clinical laboratory company, a leading home medical equipment provider, and multiple regional health systems and hospitals.
