NY Tech Meetup held its monthly meeting this past Tuesday (May 7th) at the NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts where close to 600 technology enthusiasts and entrepreneurs gathered to hear a diverse selection of ten technology presentations. Ranging from a self-serve beer tap for events (RoboKeg) to a web based service to connect entrepreneurs with space for their growing businesses (PivotDesk), each presenter was given three minutes to showcase their technology.

Included in the evening’s presentations was Rallyverse, a technology that helps companies discover and share relevant brand content on social media. Gabe Bevilacqua, one of the three company co-founders, used the opportunity to unveil a new “welcome wizard” type tool which provides real time-discovery of what is trending and topical in social media personalized to a brand and business. Co-founder Joe Doran feels that this tool is “truly new & novel innovation to the social media marketing industry”.

As social media marketing is demanding more and more time businesses are being required to hire more employees or make use of an outside agency. As Joe explained, “Rallyverse is a technology-enabled solution that scales social media marketing by providing brand relevant content that is ready to share.  This enables marketing managers to focus on adding their voice to the content, spending less time searching for the right content for their brand.”

The founders of Rallyverse have a combined experience of 40+ years in digital marketing making them one of the most experienced teams seen at NYTM. The team of seasoned entrepreneurs founded the company in 2010 in NYC and ran it as a “lean startup” focusing on technology and customers. The team was so proud of their latest innovation they wanted to share it with the community and the NYTM was the perfect event with its large technology audience. The team was very impressed with the questions posed following their presentation which were both technical and application focused.

As Joe reflected on the many things that pulled together for the company over the last few months, the opportunity to present at a venue such as the NY Tech Meetup to release their latest product innovation was pretty much “ideal”.

Next NYTM is June 11th
