Pilot Day 2016 will celebrate the winners of the Pilot Health Tech NYC Program. Taking place in New York City on February 17th, the event that is run in collaboration by NYCEDC, Health 2.0 and Blueprint Health will announce the newest funding recipients and update the audience of health and technology leaders on their newest initiative: the Digital Health Breakthrough Network.

Pilot Health Tech NYC seeks to connect healthcare startups with established healthcare companies in the New York Region to provide innovative projects with funding in a competition-like structure. To do so, both startups and host companies submit a “Find a Pilot Partner Application.” Each startup is matched with a host company and the two work together to create a healthcare proposal, which is then submitted for judging.

Of the submitted proposals, funding will be awarded to the winners of several categories. Judging criteria is based on proposal design and potential, budget, strength of match, and the overall potential impact the healthcare proposal would have in NYC. One $100k, seven $50k and two $25k awards will be granted. Approximately $1,000,000 in awards and perks are given over a three year period, in addition to workshops, conferences and recognition.

The winners will be recognized during Pilot Day 2016 at the Alexandria Center for Life Science and registration for attendees is now open here.
