Newark Venture Partners announced that it is opening up its funding model to include post-accelerator startups. Calling it “A Bridge to Seed Funding”, they are accepting applications through January 31st and they are seeking startups in the area of B2BTech that have dynamic teams, possess domain expertise, and are showing traction.
Their publicly stated offer is $200K total commitment of which is $100K upfront (convertible note and equity) and $100K co-invested into the venture-backed raise. They will provide a dedicated fundraising coach, personalized sales and marketing coaching, introductions to corporate partners and free office space to spread the startup’s wings.
In return they seek the startup to embed themselves in Newark for three months that will further the blossoming entrepreneurial tech ecosystem.
With success NVP is able to support through Seed, Series A and onward.
