Serial entrepreneurs Johnathan Weiner and Anil Aggarwal announced on June 13th the launch of their latest event, HLTH. Covering the innovations that reduce costs and increase quality in the healthcare industry, the event is scheduled for May 6 th to 9 th 2018 in Las Vegas.
Also known for founding the fintech Money20/20 and commerce Shoptalk events as well as being Venture Partners at Oak HC/FT, Weiner and Aggarwal raised $5 million in venture capital funding for development of the HLTH event. They are the first to bring all key industry stakeholders to one event, with pharma services, prolific investors, media, analysts, government representatives, disruptive startups, established players, employers, and providers all in the same place.
“Until the introduction of HLTH, there has not been a single venue that enables leaders from across the ecosystem to come together to discuss and enable a dramatically different future,” said Weiner. “We’re building HLTH to quickly become a critical part of the healthcare industry that can facilitate real change and innovation, just as we’ve done over the past few years for fintech and commerce.”
HLTH already has over 60 confirmed speakers, with plans to feature over 300 including John P. Driscoll, CEO of CareCentrix, Johnathan Bush, CEO of athenahealth, and Tim Barry, CEO and Co-Founder of VillageMD.
The four-day event’s preliminary agenda includes Transformative technology, Behavioral health, shifting roles, strategies and business models, Genomics, Trumpcare, and several other topics.
